FAQ's

1. How can I reduce my outsourced print costs?

After an Account Manager print/copy audit many of our clients have been surprised with the amount of print material that they outsource, which can add up to a considerable amounts of money. Graphic Arts clients are now using their bizhub devices for what used to be expensive proofing prints for customer sign off and matching. In addition to this many are producing client creative at the agency, rather than outsourcing which in turn reduces costs.

The Konica Minolta bizhub colour multi-functional range caters for all business needs, but its not just the colour material that customers are wanting to bring in-house. We are also finding many customers from the education sector and corporate world implementing production devices such as the bizhub 1050 and bizhub C6500. 3. Managing our network is a headache, how can I improve this?

The Konica Minolta bizhub printer/copier range is truly compatible.

Nowadays printers and multifunctional devices are equipped with ever more features and functions. As a result they are more comprehensively integrated into the PC and network environment. While on the one hand offering virtually unlimited communication capabilities – multifunctionality, on the other hand requires increased levels of network administration and user support. In many cases inadequately adapted automation routines make tasks even more difficult and time-consuming than they should be.

Consequently, most IT managers and network administrators are inundated with jobs that the users they support can rarely accomplish on their own, either because they do not know how or because the system structure doesn’t let them. Often administrators find that they have no time for the work they should be doing because they spend too much time administrating individual devices within the company network, often repeating the same configuration procedures over and over again.

Not so, however, with the bizhub generation of office multifunctional devices from Konica Minolta. The innovative bizhub technology comes with an array of features and a generous range of software tools able to facilitate, improve and automate the network integration and administration of the bizhub multifunctional devices.

Administration? Simple and straightforward.

With the beginning of the bizhub era – administration, management and monitoring of the multifunctional devices in your company network are no longer a time-consuming tasks. With the software suite, general management networked systems, their efficient administration, convenient set-up and configuration and central print job management are easy and straightforward. Much faster and more flexible than ever before. To ensure the complete independence of specific operating systems and easier access to individual applications, PageScope interacts with standard Internet browsers. In other words, any bizhub within the network can be monitored and administrated from any PC.

5. How can I control access and usage of printing between our various departments?

Konica Minolta has a range of solutions to control the access and usage of printing. Konica Minolta through the unique bizhub platform has an inbuilt security and cost accounting solution. Konica Minolta can set up each department with its own department code so when they copy, scan or print an account tally is produced for management to view.

Konica Minolta has a range of solutions that have been used for many years now outside of the bizhub range. The solutions range from swipe card solutions to pin number access using an externally mounted devise.
